Wild Swim Paintings: The Song of the Wave

Now that the Wild Swim collection is out in the world, I’m sharing the individual paintings from it in a blog series, with a little bit of commentary about each one. If you’ve had your eye on one, this is a chance to get to know it better!

This week: The Song of the Wave

The title comes from a poem by Kahlil Gibran.

I like to think of the song of the wave as being a harmonising of multiple elements - clouds of sand, fronds of seaweed dancing, bubbles and light. A deep stillness in perpetual motion.
