Daydreaming at the Kitchen Sink
One of the Solo Paintings, this one evolved incredibly slowly and I really thought it was going somewhere very different.
Part of painting is listening, and not trying to impose your will. If you can let go to that, typically your trust is rewarded by new discoveries.
I love the carving in this painting - it brings a layer of texture that contrasts with the flatness of other areas, and the almost offhand green staining.
