For me, although air and water are different elements, they carry a very similar energy.

Standing under a swooping flock of birds brings an exhilaration that echoes the feeling of being bounced around in the waves.

Watching birds glide and hover on the updrafts takes me, in sensory terms, to the feeling of floating in cool, clear Cornish waters.
